Meg – Founder | Facilitator | Artist

Hiya, I’m Meg! – I’m the heart behind Mind Body and Earth, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m passionate about the incredible power of creativity to help us connect with ourselves, each other, and the world around us. This passion isn’t just something I stumbled upon – it comes from a very personal place. When I was a child facing a serious illness, art therapy became a lifeline for me, a way to express myself and find comfort during a really tough time. That experience showed me firsthand how deeply healing and helpful getting creative can be.
Later on, while I was studying at university, I had a clear moment where I knew I wanted to dedicate my artistic skills to supporting other people’s well-being. I realised that the therapeutic benefits I experienced as a child were something I wanted to share. So, I set out to create a space where everyone feels welcome to explore their creativity, no matter their background or experience.
About Mind Body & Earth:
That’s where Mind Body and Earth comes in. It’s my way of bringing together art, movement, and nature to offer friendly and affordable opportunities for self-expression, reflection, and healing. I believe that everyone deserves access to creative practices that can support their mental and emotional well-being without breaking the bank.
Through Mind Body and Earth, I offer a range of experiences:
- Workshops & Events: These are designed to encourage you to slow down, explore your creative side, and connect with yourself and others. Think relaxed art sessions, gentle movement activities, and mindful nature walks – all focused on the joy of creating and how it can help you feel good.
- Collaborations & Community: I love working with other passionate people and organisations to create even richer and more diverse experiences that weave together different forms of healing and connection.
- Projects & Initiatives: From collaborative art projects to themed explorations, I’m always looking for new and accessible ways to engage and uplift our community through creativity.
Ultimately, Mind Body and Earth is about building a supportive space where you can feel safe to explore your creativity, embrace the process (not perfection!), and discover the amazing connection between your mind, body, and the earth around you.
