Find Your Flow was definitely a night to remember! Hosted at the Lighthouse Project Space in Brighton, the event was all about creativity, self-expression, and bringing people together—but it didn’t quite go as planned…
Just as we were about to begin, the fire alarm went off, and we all had to evacuate. So instead of kicking things off indoors, we found ourselves huddled in the car park, turning the moment into something special.
Erin James took the unexpected stage and delivered poetry under the night sky, their words cutting through the cold and bringing everyone together. With the open mic following straight after, people shared their poetry and stories in the most unplanned but magical way—it felt raw, real, and oddly perfect.

Once we were finally allowed back inside, we got to settle into the art and wellbeing workshop. I guided everyone through creative exercises exploring color, emotions, and self-expression. After all the unexpected chaos outside, it felt grounding to sit down, slow down, and create. It was incredible to see people letting go, playing with materials, and expressing themselves freely—no pressure, no right or wrong, just the joy of making.
A huge thank you to everyone who embraced the chaos with such an open mind, to Bird and Blend Tea, Dalston’s Soda, and Hand Brew Co. for keeping everyone refreshed, and to every single person who came, shared, and made the night what it was. A big thank you to Leigh for capturing the beautiful moments. And especially a big big thank you to Bobby + Lucy on the Lighthouse team for supporting the evening.
